Welcome to Grand Caribbean Bistro, a family-owned Haitian Caribbean kitchen proudly serving the Athens, Alabama community.
Though we’re new to Athens, our story started long before we opened our doors. Our family recently made Athens home, bringing with us generations of Haitian Caribbean flavor and tradition. For our lead chef, cooking began early — learning side-by-side with his mother in the kitchen starting at five years old. Those early lessons shaped not just recipes, but a lifelong love for sharing food with others.
We're in our soft opening phase and so excited to welcome you in! We're open for dine-in and takeout — just give us a call ahead for groups of 5 or more when you can. We appreciate your patience as we train our team and settle into our groove. Phone orders for pickup are available now, and online ordering through Clover, Uber Eats, and DoorDash is coming very soon!
